The Oxford Mile Invitation Pool League was formed in 2003 by Malcolm Lewis and Paul Chambers
replacing Oxford 4's Pool League which ran from 1983 - 2002.

The Oxford Mile Invitation Pool League is open to licensed houses or clubs, within 1 mile of the 2
furthest points running from GWR Club to George Inn on the Botley Road, Oxford.

2008 season has 12 teams from 5 venue within half mile of each other.
League format: 3 person team consisting of both male and female players playing blackball rules.

League start date: Tuesday 15th April 2008
